Grand Theft Auto 5 Screens Offer A Peek At Los Santos

Now that we've gotten the crazy infodump on Grand Theft Auto 5 from the upcoming Game Informer cover story, Rockstar is being much more forthcoming with early looks at the spring 2013 game. The latest is a new batch of screenshots, arriving just two days before the planned November 14, 2012 release of trailer #2 for the game.
Those who remember Los Santos from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas may see some familiar sights, but it's equally clear that the Los Angeles-alike is in for the same sort of design rehash that marked Liberty City's transformation as it moved from the last-gen GTA3 to the current-gen GTA4. The upcoming game may be limited to just one of the San Andreas cities, but it's great to see evidence of Rockstar working in an expansive countryside as well.
