Beyoncé will "definitely" be ready with new music before she takes the stage at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans for her Super Bowl halftime show on February 3rd, frequent collaborator The-Dream tells Billboard.
When asked whether she had new songs on the way, The-Dream responded: "Definitely. She's got her stuff going. She took the summer to start recording, and now she's in a place where she's ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan."Women Who Rock: The 50 Greatest Albums of All Time
The-Dream (real name Terius Nash) also noted that he's "involved in every part of the process" for Beyoncé's upcoming fifth album, after co-writing five songs on her last album, 4.
"She's already gearing up to get ready to put stuff out," The-Dream said. "I'm sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here."
Next year is shaping up to be a busy one for Beyoncé. Along with the Super Bowl show, and the growing possibility of a new record, on February 16th HBO will premiere a new documentary, directed by Beyoncé, that explores her performing, recording and, of course, parenting duties.
