Arnold schwarzenegger back in body bulding business

Arnold Schwarzenegger is going back to where it all began.

No, not Austria-bodybuilding!

The actor and six-time Mr. Olympia has signed on as executive editor of Muscle & Fitness and Flex magazines, E! News confirms.

"It was in these magazines that I found the spark that inspired me to start lifting weights, and eventually move to America and realize my dreams, and I'm proud to return as executive dditor," Schwarzenegger said in a statement.

"Bodybuilding has always been part of my life, and I know Muscle & Fitness and Flex will continue to motivate others-as it did me-to lift weights and lead a healthy lifestyle, promote the sport of bodybuilding, and, as [founder Joe Weider] used to say in every issue, 'exceed themselves.'"

Muscle & Fitness and Flex made Schwarzenegger the face of bodybuilding back when the 65-year-old star was a wee 21, and the Terminator star went on to grace their covers more than 60 times over the years.

It's only fitting he return the favor by, er, juicing up the mags' day-to-day operations with a hefty dose of star power.

"The AMI readership can relate to him both as a symbol of giving, and as a world class authority on physical fitness and training," concluded David J. Pecker, president and chief executive of American Media, Inc. "It is a relationship we are proud to re-establish."
