Rihanna is the first artist to share an exclusive
single on Jay Z's new streaming platform.
The TIDAL exclusives continue to pour in, and
Rihanna may have the biggest one yet. After
performing her brand new single, "American
Oxygen," last night at the March Madness
festival, Rih has shared the studio version of teh
song on Jay Z and company's new streaming
service.
Unlike the previous material we've seen from the
TIDAL-affiliated artists, this a bonafide single
premiere, rather than an intimate performance
or piece of rare footage.
This definitely marks a new strategy, and if
Kanye West, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Coldplay and
the like continue with this premiere-style, it may
force some fans to subscribe to the service.
